Uses of stainless steel sanitary pipes
Stainless steel sanitary pipes are mainly used in pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, bioengineering, chemical engineering, semiconductors and electronics, especially for customers who use equipment or instruments. They have certain requirements for smoothness or roughness, because the quality of the polished surface of stainless steel sanitary pipes affects the corrosion resistance of the pipes and the service life of the equipment. The inner and outer surfaces of stainless steel pipes have a good passivation layer after mechanical polishing, and have strong corrosion resistance
1. Food and beverage industry
It can be used for pipeline systems such as milk, beer, juice, and soy sauce; fermentation tanks, mixing tanks, filling lines, CIP (cleaning in place) systems; pipes and valves for yogurt and milk powder production lines, with smooth surfaces (Ra≤0.8μm), acid, alkali, and salt corrosion resistance, and meet food grade standards.
2. Pharmaceutical and bioengineering industry
It can be used for purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), and liquid delivery systems; vaccine and antibody production equipment; aseptic filling systems (freeze dryers, liquid preparation tank connection pipelines), with the advantages of sterility, pollution-free, and high temperature sterilization resistance, and meet GMP/ASME BPE standards.
3. Semiconductor and electronics industry
Can be used for ultrapure water (UPW) systems (chip cleaning, wafer manufacturing); high-purity gas delivery (nitrogen, argon, special gas pipelines), with the advantages of ultra-low impurity content and ultra-low impurity content
4. Medical and laboratory industry
Can be used for medical gas pipelines (oxygen, nitrous oxide delivery); laboratory equipment (biochemical analyzers, centrifuge pipelines); surgical instruments (stainless steel capillaries for minimally invasive surgical tools), with the advantages of biocompatibility and resistance to disinfectants
